The Culinary Arts program consists of courses covering basic skills and techniques, including purchasing and cost control, human relations, kitchen management, international cuisine, nutrition, dining room procedures, garde manger, baking and pastries, Á la carte kitchen, and includes an externship with a quality food service operation in the greater Los Angeles area.

Students develop basic skills in design, illustration, painting, and typography, and are trained in creative problem solving and the ability to offer solutions that are successful in the business of commercial graphics. Emphasis is placed on learning the skills and techniques of both computer graphics and traditional design and production tools, such as the drawing board and drawing instruments. Advanced training includes the execution of assignments encountered by professionals in the field. Students graduate with the training and portfolio normally required for an entry-level position in visual communications.

The Bachelors Degree Program in Culinary Management prepares graduates for foodservice related management and supervisory trainee positions. The program provides an opportunity for students to become competent in the identified priorities of the foodservice industry: communication, training, leadership, motivation, management, human resources, technology, accounting, marketing, and customer relations.
From overseeing food quality, to dealing with customers, to making staffing decisions, a foodservice manager handles hundreds of varied yet critically important tasks every day. The manager's capabilities and day-to-day performance, and abilities to make decisions quickly, often determine the ultimate success or failure of a foodservice operation.
The Bachelors program in Game Art & Design offers a broad range of work-ready design and technology competencies focused on career paths in the specialty of game art. Students will acquire a combination of skills in drawing, perspective, 2-D design, and animation. They will study lighting and scene setup, color theory, anatomy and gesture, as well as explore motion maps, characters, level design, and rototyping. Students also will develop skills in scriptwriting, storyboarding, character animation, programming, networking, and Web-based game content production. The Art of Cooking diploma program emphasizes progressive techniques and trends. Students are taught in modern kitchens and receive practical training. The Art of Cooking program consists of courses covering basic skills and techniques including use of culinary equipment, food safety, American regional cuisine, baking and pastry as well as nutrition. Students gain hands on experience operating the school restaurant, Bistro 31, working in the kitchen and the front of the house.
Students successfully completing this program will be prepared for entry-level positions such as line cook, (sauce, grill, broiler, or fry cook). You can gain experience in settings such as entertainment establishments, resorts, hotels, clubs, restaurants, hospitals, and other health care institutions conventions centers and even on cruise ships.
